Local MR Driver

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused MR Body Truck Driver to join our team in Emerald Branch. This full-time position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality, detailed work. The Role:

- Position: Full-time & Casual Positions Available.

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start

- Generous Overtime & Weekend work available!

- Weekly Attendance Allowance Paid!

- Responsibilities:

- Transport general freight to support the Emerald and surrounding community with excellent customer service.

- Complete necessary paperwork, including pre-start checks, run sheets, PODs, and logbooks.

- Utilise IT platforms such as PDAs to scan freight and capture live signatures.

- Perform manual handling tasks, including opening/closing gates and pulling curtains.

- Follow established standards, procedures, and safety regulations to ensure smooth and accurate deliveries.

- Work within a steady, methodical pace to maintain accuracy and high-quality work output.

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment

- Hold a current MR Licence (Manual 'B' condition preferred)

- Forklift Licence is advantageous but not mandatory.

- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen, and a criminal history check if required.

- Professional Mindset: A strong sense of accountability and commitment to delivering thorough, dependable work.

- Ability to work consistently with a focus on producing high-quality, detailed work based on established guidelines, standards, and procedures.

- Comfortable in a stable environment, working with repetitive routines and well-defined processes.

- Ability to collaborate with peers and management to ensure efficient, error-free work.

Please Note:
The weekly attendance payment referenced for this role is available exclusively to full‑time employees and is subject to strict eligibility criteria. Eligibility requires the employee to:

1. Attend all contracted and rostered shifts in accordance with a standard 38‑hour work week; and

Provided these conditions are fully satisfied, the eligible weekly attendance payment of $192.30 will be processed and paid.
