Our Graduate Experiences-

"Talking Matters' well-established New Graduate Program has made me feel so supported and confident in my ability to support my clients. I have loved the variety in my caseload, and it has allowed me to grow in many areas of my clinical skills. They helped me to establish a healthy work-life balance early on and were open to discussions when I needed support or had questions. As an Autistic clinician, they have made me feel so welcome and I can attest that the team uphold the same neurodiversity affirming practice with me as they do with their clients. The whole team is very welcoming and have made my first year out of Uni so memorable and rewarding. You will grow to be very close with your new grad peers through training days, 'lunch and learns' and much more. Starting my career with Talking Matters was the best decision I could have made to set myself up for success." Speech Pathology New Graduate 2026

“Starting my career with Talking Matters as a new graduate has been a positive and supportive experience. From day one,

I have felt welcomed by a team that genuinely supports my development and wellbeing. Growing alongside other new graduates who share the same passion has made the transition even more rewarding. The fortnightly mentoring and lunch and learn sessions, along with a progressive caseload, have helped me build my clinical knowledge and confidence. Talking Matters has helped me feel supported, connected and confident as a clinician.” Occupational Therapy New Graduate 2026
