Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologist responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on anesthesia care for neonatal and pediatric cardiac patients in an inpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver 100% hands‑on anesthesia for pediatric cardiac cases, including neonatal cardiac surgeries and catheterizations.
- Supervise CRNAs and participate in a 1:3 call rotation, including weeknight beeper coverage from 5:30 PM to 7:30 AM and 24-hour weekend coverage.
- Work primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with call duties outside these hours.
Qualifications & Skills
- Board certification in anesthesia.
- Fellowship training in pediatric cardiac anesthesia.
- Experience in pediatric cardiac cases, neonatal care, and congenital heart disease procedures.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage complex pediatric cardiac patients.
