We are a family owned, busy wholesale plant distribution business, located in Kenthurst, supplying one of Australia’s largest retailers, as well as numerous independent nurseries across NSW. We are currently seeking to employ an energetic and flexible team member to join our Yard team utilizing their Forklift Operator expertise and teamwork skills in a small supportive team environment.

Working hours are typically 7.00am to 3.50pm Mon to Thurs and 7.00am to 1.30pm on Friday; some overtime and some variation to working hours, including a later start/finish, may be required from time to time to meet operational needs.

Role requirements:

- Unloading of pallets and racks of stock from incoming deliveries.
- Placement of incoming stock throughout the Nursery.
- Movement of stock within the Nursery to ensure proper plant health - includes manual handling requiring a flexible attitude and a strong level of fitness.
- Assistance with general maintenance and care of the site.

The successful candidate will:





- Like outdoor work and be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Enjoy working in a team environment
- Be physically capable, as some lifting of plants is required
- Have a valid forklift license and your own transport to our site in Kenthurst. (Public transport is extremely limited in this area and generally does not work with 7.00am start)
- Be willing to learn plant names and varieties
- Possess excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize work

- 1.30pm finish on Friday (usually) so you can start your weekends early
- This role offers great variety in your work week from unloading/loading trucks to working throughout the Nursery as the need arises
