Step into a Technical Business Analyst role where your work will help shape the future of broker technology at IAG. You’ll join the Intermediated Experience Platforms team, part of a large scale transformation focused on enhancing the broker experience through contemporary digital and technology solutions. Working across platforms including Guidewire Jutro, MuleSoft and Appian, you’ll play a key role in connecting business needs with delivery outcomes. Alongside Product Owners, developers, testers and stakeholders, you’ll help deliver new capabilities that support brokers, improve experiences and drive meaningful business value across a growing and highly visible transformation program. This is a 12-month max-term full-time role based in Naarm (181 William St, Melbourne) or Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).

What You’ll Do

- Partner with business stakeholders and Product Owners to understand needs, uncover opportunities and translate requirements into clear technology outcomes.
- Create high quality user stories, functional documentation and solution designs that help delivery teams move confidently from concept to execution.
- Collaborate with developers, testers and delivery teams to refine requirements and support successful implementation of new capabilities.




- Analyse business processes, systems and data to identify practical solutions that balance customer needs, business priorities and technical considerations.
- Support agile delivery by contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement and ongoing collaboration across cross functional teams.
- Communicate complex information in a simple, engaging way, helping stakeholders understand impacts, risks and opportunities throughout delivery.

What You’ll Bring

- Experience working as a Technical Business Analyst within technology delivery environments.
- Strong knowledge of general insurance and the systems that support it.
- Confidence translating business needs into user stories, requirements and solution documentation.
- Experience working in agile teams and collaborating closely with technical specialists.
- A curious, analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems pragmatically.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for delivering positive customer and business outcomes.
