About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to combine your employer engagement and recruitment expertise with meaningful work that helps create career opportunities for Deakin students and graduates.
As the Senior Coordinator, Employer Services, you will manage partnerships with employer segments and recruitment agencies, promote the Deakin graduate brand and identify employment opportunities for students and graduates. You will coordinate responsive and innovative recruitment and shortlisting services, connect students and graduates with recruitment pipelines, and contribute to the broader operations of the Graduate Employment Team.
You’ll also lead continuous improvement initiatives, build strong internal and external partnerships, and proactively identify new opportunities with potential Employer Partners.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate employer services operations and partnerships, implementing scalable processes to support employer segments and recruitment agencies.
- Build and strengthen employer relationships while promoting the Deakin graduate brand to enhance employment outcomes for students and graduates.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, establishing effective systems and processes to track progress, overcome barriers and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Provide tailored, evidence-based advice and pragmatic solutions that anticipate stakeholder needs and align with University policies and priorities.
- Build solid professional networks and collaborative partnerships across Deakin and externally to achieve shared goals and deliver improved outcomes.
- Promote and support the continued development of the Student Jobs at Deakin Initiative.
About you

You will bring:
- Postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of extensive relevant experience, education and training.
- Extensive experience in talent acquisition, graduate recruitment, early careers or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience leading programs, functions or teams and delivering strategic outcomes.
- Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to operate effectively in complex environments.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive continuous improvement and provide effective leadership.
