What you’ll be doing

- Responding to breakdowns and urgent support calls across mining, plant, and industrial sites
- Designing, developing, and commissioning PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems
- Troubleshooting complex automation issues with calm, structured thinking
- Leading upgrades, improvements, and optimisation projects
- Working directly with clients to understand problems, scope solutions, and deliver outcomes
- Providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers when needed




- Ensuring all work aligns with safety, compliance, and engineering best practice

What we’re looking for

- Solid experience with PLC/SCADA systems (Allen‑Bradley, Schneider, Siemens and Inductive Automation)
- Proven capability in breakdown response and fault‑finding
- Ability to work independently and make confident technical decisions
- Clear communication skills — both with clients and internally
- A mindset that values responsibility, ethics, and long‑term relationships
- Someone who enjoys variety: office, workshop, plant, and field work
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, RPEQ or equivalent preferred.
