Maintenance Plumber – Static Healthcare Site

Location: Macquarie Park, Sydney, NSW
Salary: $110,000 + Super

About the Role

An excellent chance is available for a qualified Maintenance Plumber to join an established facilities and maintenance team based at a large healthcare facility in Macquarie Park.

This is a permanent static-site position, giving you the stability of working from the same location each day rather than travelling between multiple customer sites across Sydney.

You’ll be responsible for planned and reactive plumbing maintenance, fault finding and repairs across a busy operational healthcare environment where reliability, safety and quality of workmanship are essential.

You’ll work alongside an established team of trades and facilities professionals responsible for keeping the facility operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out planned preventative plumbing maintenance
- Attend reactive maintenance calls and urgent plumbing issues
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs
- Maintain hot and cold water systems
- Maintain drainage and sanitary systems
- Complete minor plumbing works and component replacements
- Respond to maintenance requests throughout the facility
- Carry out inspections and identify potential maintenance issues




- Ensure all work meets relevant safety and compliance requirements
- Complete maintenance reports and documentation
- Liaise with other trades and the wider facilities team
- Work professionally within a live healthcare environment

About You

- Qualified Plumber with relevant NSW licence
- Previous commercial maintenance experience
- Strong plumbing fault-finding and maintenance skills
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance
- Comfortable working within a busy operational environment
- Able to work independently and manage daily priorities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety
- Experience within hospitals, healthcare, critical environments or large commercial facilities highly regarded

Previous healthcare experience is advantageous but not essential for someone with a strong commercial maintenance background.
