Are you an experienced Maintenance Fitter seeking a new challenge? TSM Engineering Pty Ltd, based in Berrinba QLD 4117, is looking for a full-time Maintenance Fitter to join our growing team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs and adjustments as required
Liaise with production teams to plan and coordinate maintenance activities
Implement best practices and procedures to improve equipment reliability and productivity
Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and parts used
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the maintenance function
What we're looking for
Formal trade qualification as a maintenance fitter, with 3+ years of relevant experience
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
Working knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely and in compliance with relevant regulations
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with production and other maintenance staff
Valid Australian work rights are required for this position
