KPC Plumbing and Drainage is seeking a Qualified Plumber to join our growing team in Bayswater North, VIC. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established plumbing and drainage company serving the local community and surrounding areas. As a Qualified Plumber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing services to residential and commercial clients, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with relevant regulations. This role is integral to maintaining KPC Plumbing and Drainage's reputation for excellence and reliability in the industry.

Key responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose plumbing problems and provide effective solutions, including leak detection and repairs
- Perform drainage system maintenance and repairs, including drain cleaning and unblocking services
- Read and interpret plans and technical specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to plumbing codes and standards
- Provide skilled customer service, addressing client concerns and explaining work clearly
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements
- Document all work completed, including materials used and time spent on each job

What we're looking for

- Current Plumbing Licence (Victorian qualification or equivalent) with unrestricted endorsements
- Proven experience as a qualified plumber with demonstrated expertise in both residential and commercial work




- Sound knowledge of Australian Plumbing Standards and relevant building codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex plumbing issues accurately
- Excellent time management and the ability to work efficiently whilst maintaining high-quality standards
- Reliable transportation and a current valid driver's licence
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Physical fitness and ability to work in varied environments, including confined spaces where necessary
- Working knowledge of common plumbing materials and modern plumbing technologies is desirable
- Experience with drainage and gas fitting work is advantageous
