Assistant General Manager – Iririki Island Resort VANUATU
Iririki Resort is seeking a motivated and career-driven Assistant General Manager. This is a unique chance in Vanuatus most iconic resort to use your high level leadership skills in a dynamic hospitality environment while living and working in one of the world’s most stunning island destinations.
About the Role
As assistant General Manager you will have direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of front office, reservations, housekeeping, logistics, & customer service management plus other resort areas. You will work closely with department heads to implement effective management strategies that enhance profitability and elevate the guest experience. You will work alongside the F&B; Director, CFO & Operations Manager to form the senior management team all reporting to the CEO.
Package
AUD package - (TAX FREE BASE SALARY plus additional benefits to the value of $25k, including accommodation, some meals & medical insurance)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Reservations, housekeeping, logistics,
customer service management departments
- Assist the CEO with resort operational management & tasks
- Provide leadership, training, and support to staff in line with resort standards and business objectives
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to maximise room yield and revenue
- Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel industry
- Previous management experience in a remote resort essential
- Willingness to relocate and live on-site in Vanuatu
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests and staff
- Highly motivated with a passion for hospitality and tourism
- Experience with Room Master software is highly desirable
