Hapco Engineers is an established, family-owned engineering company based in Welshpool, specialising in precision machining and quality workmanship. We are seeking an experienced First Class CNC Machinist to join our team in a full-time, permanent position.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist looking for secure, long-term employment within a skilled workshop environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for the manufacture of quality precision components, including:

- Setting, operating and troubleshooting CNC machines (Siemens & Fanuc controllers)

- Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

- Selecting appropriate tooling and applying machining techniques

- Maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality control

- Working independently while contributing positively to the workshop team

What We’re Looking For

- Fully qualified First Class Machinist (Trade Certificate)

- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade CNC machining experience





- Strong CNC turning experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls

- Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings

- High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship

- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Strong communication skills and a positive team attitude
