We are seeking an experienced Senior Diamond Driller to join a strongly backed mineral exploration program in the Bendoc region of Victoria. You will be responsible for operating the drill rig safely and efficiently, working closely with the geological team and supporting the development of the exploration program. This role involves surface exploration diamond drilling to depths of approximately 300m, including downhole surveying, using a Hanjin D&B10.; You will work as part of a four-person drilling crew consisting of Senior Driller, Trainee Driller, Offsider, and Labourer, supported by two geologists and a Project Manager.
About you
Previous diamond drilling experience - 5+ years
Current Manual Driver Licence (HR Licence — preferred but not essential)
Current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain prior to commencement)
Able to pass a National Police Check, medical and drug & alcohol screening
Physically fit and capable of working in a remote exploration environment
Strong commitment to safety and secure work practices
Strong practical problem-solving skills
Good mechanical aptitude
Comfortable working as part of a small crew
Work autonomously and take ownership of the drill program
Plan work effectively and think ahead
