Nursery Planner

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an excitingopportunity to join Driscoll’s Australia, where you will work closely withnursery leaders and operational stakeholders to provide data-driven insightsthat support operational performance, inventory optimisation and businessdecision-making.

As the Nursery Planner, you will manage the tissueculture forecast planning function, develop production plans to meet tissueculture orders, track real-time activity and support effective inventorymanagement through the IVS system. You will also provide reporting, systemsupport and practical insights to improve planning processes and support thefuture capacity of our nursery operations.

Some of your key responsibilities, will include:

- Manage the tissue culture (TC) forecast planning function.
- Gather and evaluate data to develop solutions aimed at increasing productive efficiency.
- Provide input to strategic decisions affecting the functional area and workflow within the laboratory environment.
- Provide essential input for future planning in the development of budgets.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from TC laboratories and the broader Driscoll’s business, requiring coordination with other departments.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to demonstrate capabilities in the following:

- Experience in planning roles within FMCG, Agriculture or similar would be advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience using BI tools.
- Use of inventory management systems such as IVS or equivalent.




- Solid analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Experience interpreting complex data and providing actionable recommendations.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in automation and process optimisation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
- Valid Drivers License
