Backbone Bar & Kitchen is a family-owned Japanese and craft-beer venue in the heart of Tugun, known for our friendly atmosphere, loyal locals, and relaxed coastal vibe. We’re looking for a confident, welcoming team member with some bar service experience to help us deliver outstanding drinks and even better hospitality.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys chatting with regulars, building genuine connections, and working in a tight-knit, supportive team. Hours will increase over the busy Christmas period, with no late nights — we close by 10:30pm.

We’re looking for someone who:

- Has previous bar or hospitality experience

- Is friendly, social, and loves getting to know our regular guests

- Can work well during peak periods (especially Christmas)

- Brings a positive attitude and team-first mindset
