Multhana Property Services – South Brisbane QLD

Multhana Property Services is seeking an experienced Estimator / Supervisor to join our growing team in South Brisbane, Queensland. This is a full-time position that combines technical estimating expertise with supervisory responsibilities. In this role, you will play a critical part in our construction operations, overseeing project costing, resource allocation, and team coordination. You will report directly to management and be instrumental in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position is based on-site in South Brisbane, QLD 4101.

What you'll be doing

- Prepare accurate and detailed construction cost estimates for projects of varying sizes and complexity
- Review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop comprehensive estimates
- Analyse material costs, labour requirements, plant and equipment needs, and overhead expenses
- Supervise and coordinate construction teams on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
- Conduct site inspections and progress assessments to monitor project performance
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to clarify project requirements and resolve issues
- Maintain detailed records of estimates, costs, and project variations
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members and estimating staff
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions without compromising quality




- Prepare reports and presentations for management and stakeholders

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years in the role
- Demonstrated supervisory experience, managing teams and coordinating in office operations
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, costs, and industry standards
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings accurately
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with a pragmatic, results-oriented approach
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline are advantageous
- Experience with residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is preferred
