TRANSCRIPTION- COURT TYPIST - WORK FROM HOME OR SYDNEY OFFICE

It's an exciting time at APT Transcriptions. We are growing with increasing demand from our court and police clients and we need your help!

Based in Sydney, APT Transcriptions is a long-standing existing provider to court and police jurisdictions, with a reputation for delivering quality transcripts on time.

About you

We are looking for experienced transcribers to work remote as independent contractors or onsite in our Sydney office.

We require experience with Federal Court and WA Police, but other Australian court experience will be considered, particularly NSW Courts. Any experience checking and compiling transcripts would be highly regarded.

National Police Clearance

Qualifications, skills & experience

Experience in court transcription, Federal Court or NSW. Experience with other courts and jurisdictions would be considered

Typing speed of 80WPM

Ability to meet deadlines

Excellent hearing and attention to detail

Able to follow templates and client specific manual

Love to type

Tasks & responsibilities

Transcribe audio, video, and live recordings accurately and efficiently





Review, proofread, and edit transcripts to meet quality standards

Meet delivery deadlines and support team priorities

Identify and elevate complex transcription issues

Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance.

Onsite in Sydney office:

- Ability to work 4-5 days a week.

Remote work – compulsory requirements:

Company Pty Limited ACN set-up for remote/work from home in court transcription. This is NOT NEGOTIABLE, but we can assist with payment of company set-up

Stable internet and Windows 11 computer with ability to work multi-factor authentication and remote desktop. Computer no older than 4-5 years, and must use an Infinity foot pedal.

Ability to work during the day (Sydney time) for daily transcripts - 4 - 5 days per week preferred.
