The Botanical Room is looking for an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our private luxury hair atelier in Byron Bay.

Earn 40% of your service revenue + 30% commission on retail sales.

No chair rent. No major investment in products. We provide the beautiful space, premium products and salon essentials — you focus on your clients, your craft and building a successful column.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

- Has 5+ years' hairdressing experience
- Is confident in colour, blonding and cutting




- Creates beautiful, healthy and considered hair
- Values quality over quantity
- Loves building long‑term client relationships
- Is professional, reliable and self‑motivated
- Wants flexibility and independence
- Is motivated to build a strong clientele and increase their earning potential

Experience with botanical or low-tox colour is welcome but not essential — full product education will be provided.

Your Earning Potential

Your income grows with your column.

At 40% service commission:

$3,000 services/week → $1,200
$4,000 services/week → $1,600
$5,000 services/week → $2,000

Plus 30% commission on retail sales.

There is no weekly chair rental fee and your professional colour, backbar and styling products are provided.
