We're looking for an experienced Commercial Claims Team Leader to lead a high-performing claims team, drive exceptional customer outcomes and support the continued evolution of our Claims & Service function.

About the Role

As Commercial Claims Team Leader, you'll lead a team of Claims Consultants, ensuring outstanding service delivery while fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture. You'll play a key role in coaching and developing your team, managing performance, and driving operational excellence across commercial motor claims.

You'll also act as a technical expert and escalation point, supporting complex claims while building robust relationships with brokers, fleet customers, repairers and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and develop a team of Claims Consultants
- Drive employee engagement, performance and a culture of accountability
- Manage team workloads, productivity and service delivery outcomes
- Monitor and report on team KPIs and service level agreements
- Oversee the end-to-end management of fleet motor claims
- Handle complex and escalated claims matters
- Provide technical guidance and support across the team
- Ensure claims practices comply with relevant legislation, regulations and industry codes
- Partner with internal stakeholders to continuously improve claims processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers,



customers, repairers and suppliers
- Support the Commercial Claims Manager in developing claims frameworks, policies and procedures.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll be a people-focused leader who enjoys developing teams while maintaining a strong focus on customer and business outcomes.

You'll bring:

- Proven leadership experience within Commercial Property, Commercial Motor, Home or Landlord Claims
- Minimum 3 years' experience in insurance claims management and administration
- Experience managing complex and escalated claims
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor and develop team members
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Sound understanding of claims compliance and industry requirements
- Experience within the motor vehicle insurance market will be highly regarded.
