The Opportunity
In this role, you will manage a portfolio of claims while guiding and supporting others utilising your technical expertise and in depth claims experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a reduced and more technical portfolio of life insurance claims from assessment through to resolution.
- Be a point of reference for the team on technical and complex claims matters.
- Conduct claim reviews and provide guidance and advise on claim strategies.
- Develop Injury Management and Return to Work Plans.
- Proactively manage claims reserves and review information as circumstances change.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to support appropriate recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the claims process.
About You
- Several years’ experience managing a portfolio of Group or Retail Life Insurance claims.
- Experience conducting claims reviews.
- Proven ability in coaching and guiding others from a technical and claims management perspective.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship management abilities.
- A genuine desire to support people through injury and recovery.
- Confidence communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
