As a Cook/Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals in a clean and organized kitchen environment. Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
- Assist with meal planning, including special dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, following food safety standards.
- Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Compassionate and patient demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- Certificate III in commercial cookery.
