About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Studio Manager to join our team at Fitstop Engadine on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal role that will oversee the daily operations of our fitness studio, ensuring an outstanding experience for both our members and staff. Based in Engadine, NSW 2233, the Studio Manager will be responsible for driving the success of the studio through excellent customer service, team leadership, and strategic operational management. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our studio's culture and performance.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily operations of the studio, including opening and closing procedures, facility maintenance, and equipment management
- Manage and motivate the studio team, including instructors, reception staff, and support personnel
- Develop and implement strategies to maximise member retention, engagement, and satisfaction
- Handle member enquiries, complaints, and concerns in a skilled and timely manner
- Manage membership administration, billing processes, and database maintenance
- Ensure the studio maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- Plan and coordinate promotional activities, events, and community engagement initiatives
- Monitor studio performance metrics, including membership numbers, revenue, and attendance rates
- Recruit, train,



and schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for all classes and sessions
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage vendor contracts and ordering
- Create a positive and welcoming studio environment that reflects our brand values and culture

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably within the fitness, wellness, or hospitality industry
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Proficiency in managing databases, membership software, and point-of-sale systems
- Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences
- Knowledge of fitness industry trends, class formats, and wellness programming
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management
- A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings and weekends as required
- Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Relevant qualifications in business management, fitness instruction, or related fields are advantageous
- Certificate 3 and or 4 Fitness
- Current first aid & CPR
- Current working with children certificate
