Contract Speech Pathologist – Paediatric | Mobile Clinician
The Speech Hive Speech Pathology – Five Dock NSW
As a mobile Paediatric Speech Pathologist, you will provide assessment and therapy services to children within their home, school, childcare or other community settings. You will manage your own paediatric caseload while working collaboratively with families, educators and other health professionals to support the best outcomes for each child.
Key responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language and communication assessments
- Providing evidence-based individualised therapy
- Developing and implementing tailored therapy plans
- Working with children with a range of communication and developmental needs
- Providing practical strategies and education to parents, carers and educators
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes
- Preparing assessment and progress reports where required
- Collaborating with families and other allied health professionals
- Managing a caseload independently while maintaining high clinical standards
- Travelling to clients across the designated service area
About you
- Qualified as a Speech Pathologist
- Ideally has 2+ years of clinical experience, preferably in paediatrics
- Confident working independently with a paediatric caseload
- Warm, engaging and child-focused
- Strong in communication and relationship building with families
- Organised and able to manage clinical documentation and caseload requirements
- Committed to evidence-based and family-centred practice
- Reliable, professional and passionate about supporting children to reach their potential
- Comfortable working in a mobile/community-based setting
