Early Childhood (Pre-Primary School) Teacher

Job Description
TRINITY ACADEMY PTY LTD trading as TRINITY ACADEMY HEATHCOTE As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that support children's learning and development in accordance with the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Framework (NQF).

Task & responsibilities Develop and implement a high-quality educational program for children aged 3-5 years. Observe, assess, and document children's learning and development. Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Build positive relationships with children, families, educators, and community stakeholders. Lead and mentor educators in curriculum planning and reflective practice. Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards, child protection requirements, and relevant legislation.
Support children's transition to school through intentional teaching and school readiness initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement and quality outcomes within the service. Qualification & experience Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification).
Current registration with the relevant Teacher Regulatory Authority Current Working with Children Check.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain). Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), National Quality Framework (NQF), and National Quality Standards (NQS). Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Current Child Safey and Child Protection Training Experience working in long day care, preschool, or kindergarten settings.
Experience leading educational programs and mentoring educators. Knowledge of inclusion, child development, and contemporary early childhood practices.
