AUS-1 International Pty Ltd is looking for experienced PRESSURE WELDERS to join its team of professionals on a full time and permanent basis.
The role includes but is not limited to: Read and interpret project plans, engineering drawings, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform task at hand Set up equipment and weld parts, using appropriate pressure welding equipment and methods
Proficiency in all types of pressure welding Weld and repair pressure vessels and pipes to relevant high-quality standards Fabricate metal components in accordance with supplied drawings and specifications
Equipment Maintenance – preventative and reactive Diagnose faults and perform operational maintenance on machines in order to restore full functionality and safety performance, and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard.
Keep the workstation clean and orderly to retain a safe and operational work setting. Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding by flame cutting, heat cutting, gouging, bevelling, grinding or filing Execute welds in a professional manner and ensure conformance with specifications.
Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets standard specifications Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems on a daily basis, in addition to fabrication duties. To be considered for this role, you must have the following:
Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent qualification Minimum of three years of experience in this role or similar Ability to work independently and in a team environment to complete large and complex projects
Critical thinking Strong attention to detail and the ability to conduct quality checks on completed work Precision skills
Strong communication and reporting skills Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable Must have outstanding work ethics
Salary: Between $79,499 and $82,000 per annum + Super
