Band4 $72,010 - $75,577 pro rata per annum, plus 12% statutory superannuation
Thisis a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an important community service andbe part of a dedicated and supportive team.
Inthis varied role, you'll deliver high-quality customer service and communityprograms, maintain collections and oversee day-to-day library operations,helping deliver a welcoming and engaging library experience.
Aspart of the team, you'll participate in a roster system that includes regularSaturday shifts and occasional work outside normal business hours.
Thisposition is primarily based at Heyfield Library but may be required to workacross other Wellington Shire library facilities as needed.

Inthis role, you will
- Providefriendly and professional customer service, assisting library users withinformation, resources, technology and library services.
- Supportday-to-day library operations, including memberships, loans, returns,reservations, shelving and collection presentation.
- Delivera range of engaging community programs and activities with enthusiasm, to activelyencourage learning, literacy and community participation. This includesweekly Storytime sessions.
- Assistwith the maintenance and development of library collections, includingprocessing new items and providing collection recommendations.
- Promotelibrary services and support users to confidently access digitalresources, technology and online information.
- Undertakeadministrative tasks that support library operations, collections,programming and community engagement activities.
- Contributeto a welcoming, inclusive and well-presented library environment.
- Workcollaboratively with colleagues, community groups and library users to createpositive library experiences and deliver service outcomes.

Youare passionate about the role libraries play in supporting literacy, lifelonglearning and community connection. You bring experience in library services ora similar customer-focused environment and enjoy helping people accessinformation, resources and technology.
Youwill bring:
- Experienceworking in library services, with an understanding of library systems,processes and customer service delivery.
- Confidenceand enthusiasm to engage children, families and community members throughlibrary programs and activities, including Storytime.
- Strongcommunication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assist adiverse range of library users.
- A genuineinterest in literacy, learning and community connection.
- Confidencesupporting people to access technology, digital resources and onlineservices.
- Well-developedorganisational skills and the ability to manage a variety of tasks andpriorities.
- Acollaborative approach and willingness to contribute across customerservice, collections, programs and library operations.
- Proficiencyin Microsoft 365 and the ability to learn and use library managementsystems.
