We are looking for an experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of the retail side of the pharmacy. Approximately 30 to 34 hours per week
Key responsibilities
Retail sales and customer service – ensuring customers receive a warm, personalised and professional experience
Staff management and rostering – organising staff rosters and overseeing day-to-day staffing requirements
Stock control – monitoring stock levels, managing inventory and ensuring products are available when needed
Purchasing – ordering from pharmaceutical wholesalers and a range of other suppliers and companies
Merchandising – maintaining attractive, organised and commercially effective displays
Point of Sale (POS) – confidently using the Corum POS system and managing day-to-day retail transactions
IT and administration – using computer systems confidently and efficiently
Supplier and Merchandise Representative liaison – working with suppliers and representatives to manage products, promotions and merchandising opportunities
Supporting the smooth and efficient everyday running of the pharmacy retail area
About you
Experienced in community pharmacy
Warm, friendly and personable
Qualified and well organised
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Comfortable managing staff and coordinating rosters
Competent with POS systems and general IT
Commercially aware, with an understanding of sales, stock management and merchandising
Reliable, proactive and able to take ownership of the retail operation
Committed to providing a personalised, caring and professional experience for every customer
