Every day, you'll see the impact of your teaching as students gain the technical expertise and confidence they need to thrive in their careers.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Distance Learning Teacher - Drafting to join our Engineering and Manufacturing team on a casual basis within our Engineering Educational Delivery team at TAFE Queensland SkillsTech at our Acacia Ridge campus.This role provides high-quality training and assessment to students studying drafting qualifications through flexible and online delivery modes.This position is ideal for an industry professional who is passionate about developing future drafting professionals and supporting learners through distance education.This position reports directly to the relevant Business Manager and Educational Team Leader.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver training and assessment to distance learning students enrolled in drafting qualifications.Maintain regular communication and support for students through email, telephone, Microsoft Team and other online learning platforms.Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support successful outcomes.Develop, review and update learning and assessment resources where necessary to enhance student learning.Ensure training and assessment practices comply with relevant regulatory, organisational and industry requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement activities within the drafting and engineering training area.Benefits of working with us* 12.75% employer superannuation contributions and salary packaging options* Relocation assistance (financial support may be available)* Professional development and study assistance,
