Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Assistant Analyst, Analytics and AI Capability to join Digital Business Solutions, Administrative Division.
QUT's Data & Analytics team is seeking an Assistant Analyst, Analytics and AI Capability to support practical activities associated with the rollout of new data, analytics and AI capabilities across the university. The role will assist with training support, user enablement, testing, documentation, feedback capture and supervised feature development activities. It is designed for a student who wants meaningful industry experience while helping staff build confidence using new tools and information services. The role supports adoption and knowledge transfer as new capabilities move into normal business operations. The work will be guided by experienced staff and matched to the successful student’s skills and development needs.

What you need to succeed
- High level of digital literacy, including the ability to use common digital tools (e.g. Data and Analytics technologies and languages) and learn new systems.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of clients.
- Demonstrated experience working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated experience drafting a range of documentation, including training materials and guides with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to successfully prioritise tasks, follow processes accurately, and meet agreed timeframes.
