Stratogen Accounting is a well-respected and long established Noosaville based public accounting practice. Full time or Part time available and adaptable working arrangements will be considered.

We are a small team of professionals servicing mainly small businesses, self-managed super funds, companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals across broad areas of accounting, audit, taxation and business advice.

About the role:

Initially you will be working with the Directors who will provide the support necessary for you to get to know our clients, developing into an independent role caring for a portfolio of clients across a variety of businesses.

Key responsibilities include:

- Prepare a range of financial statements for clients in accordance with tax compliance, accounting and financial reporting standards, including Self Managed Super Funds;
- Prepare annual income tax returns, business activity statements and management reports for review;
- Prepare clear and concise work papers;
- Perform tax planning for clients;
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual compliance matters;




- Liaise with clients, ATO, external auditors and financial advisors directly;
- Prepare advice for clients; and
- General business administration

Qualifications & experience:

To be successful in this application, degree qualification and Self Managed Superannuation Fund experience are essential. It is highly desirable that you have a minimum of 3 years senior business services and tax experience servicing a variety of clients. Membership with a recognised accounting body would be advantageous.

We use a variety of software programs and solid experience in the following is preferable:

- Handisoft suite of programs
- Class Super
- Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB
- Microsoft Word & Excel

- Work autonomously with flexible hours

- Located near the beautiful Noosa river
