Experienced Forklift Operator – Coopers Plains

Precision Labour Hire is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators for ongoing opportunities with a busy steel distribution facility based in Coopers Plains.

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused operators with experience handling steel products and operating large-capacity forklifts.

The Opportunity

- Ongoing Monday to Friday work

- AM shifts available: 4:00am–12:00pm or 6:00am–2:00pm

- $39.99 per hour

- Coopers Plains location

- Ongoing work with a busy steel distribution facility

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate large-capacity forklifts in a steel distribution workplace

- Load and unload trucks and shipping containers

- Move, handle and organise steel products and materials

- Mark loads for despatch

- Complete second load restraint checks using a tablet or computer





- Assist with despatch and general computer-based tasks as required

About You

- Current LF Forklift Licence (essential)

- Minimum 12 months' forklift operating experience (essential)

- Computer confidence, including tablets and despatch systems (essential)

- Proven experience operating large-capacity forklifts

- Experience using probe and tyne forklift attachments

- Experience handling steel products

- Background in steel, transport, manufacturing or heavy industrial environments

- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail

- Reliable transport and a dependable work ethic

Steel industry experience, including steel coil handling and the use of probe or tyne attachments, will be highly regarded.
