UX Designer (AGSVA Baseline Clearance Essential)

Job Summary/Introduction We are seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible and user-centred digital experiences.

Applicants must hold a current AGSVA Baseline security clearance. Applicants without Baseline clearance will not be considered.

Detailed Job Description

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to deliver intuitive and user-centred digital experiences within a collaborative Agile workplace.

You will work closely with product managers, business analysts, developers and service designers to translate user and business needs into effective digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Create intuitive, user-centred digital experiences and interfaces
- Translate user and business requirements into wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
- Conduct and support user research, usability testing and design validation
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides and reusable components
- Apply accessibility, usability and responsive design principles
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, developers and service designers




- Provide clear design specifications and guidance to development teams
- Communicate and present design decisions effectively to stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

- Strong UX/UI design experience with a focus on user-centred design
- Strong proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or equivalent tools
- Experience with user research, usability testing and design validation
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems and reusable components
- Strong understanding of accessibility and responsive design
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to clearly explain and present design decisions
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centred design and problem-solving

Contract Contract opportunity with a likely chance of extension.

Security Clearance A current AGSVA Baseline security clearance is mandatory. Applicants without an active Baseline clearance will not be considered.
