PA & Accounts Officer - Commercial Construction

About the Role

We’re a commercial construction company based in Redland Bay looking for a proactive PA & Accounts Officer to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work directly alongside our Managing Director and project teams to handle our day-to-day accounts, help out with procurement, and keep administrative operations running smoothly. It’s a hands‑on position with plenty of variety, perfect for a strong all‑rounder who knows their way around Xero and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Accounts & Finance:

Handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable.

Run daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

Manage payroll and superannuation obligations in Xero.

Prepare weekly financial summaries and project reports.

Project & Procurement Support:

Work with suppliers and subcontractors on product sourcing and trade procurement.

Assist with tender documentation, contract administration,



and project filing.

Executive Support:

Provide direct administrative support to the Managing Director, including email management, dictation, and scheduling.

Keep project files and records organised and up to date.

What We’re Looking For

Solid experience in an accounts and office support role.

Strong confidence using Xero.

A good handle on Australian payroll and general accounting basics.

Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.

Prior experience in the construction industry is a bonus but not required.
