About the role:
We are on the search for aMaintenanceOfficer to join our Mitchelton team! You’llbe part of an experienced and dedicated team, helping to createa welcoming,professionaland supportive careexperience for the residents of St Vincent’s Care Services,Mitcheltonand Enoggera. Historically known as St Joseph's Villa, Madonna Villa and Oxford Park, our residential is a carefully restored former monastery with176-beds and located less than 10kms fromthe Brisbane CBD.
Things that work for us:
- Permanent full-time position, with afterhours/on call may possibly be required
- Core hours are Monday to Friday, 0700-1500
- Ability to perform maintenance work and repairs across our Mitchelton and Enoggera sites
- Efficiently maintain the buildings, plant and equipment and supervise repairs/installations being completed by external contractors
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to problem solve
- Trade qualificationpreferred
- Confident user of Microsoft office and Mobile applications
- Aged or Community care experience, desirable
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow directives as per care plan
- Able to apply for a National Police Certificate
