A-Light Australia is looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Solar & Battery Installer / Electrician to join our growing team. We specialise in residential and commercial solar and battery installations across NSW and are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works safely and professionally, and can confidently complete high-quality installations.
Key responsibilities
- Complete residential and commercial solar PV and battery installations
- Install and commission solar panels, inverters, hybrid inverters and battery storage systems
- Complete switchboard works, electrical connections and system upgrades where required
- Diagnose and troubleshoot solar, battery and inverter issues
- Ensure all installations comply with current Australian Standards, electrical regulations and manufacturer requirements
- Complete required testing, commissioning and installation documentation
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and presentation on every job
- Communicate professionally with customers and the A-Light Australia team
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite
- Work efficiently with apprentices, trade assistants and other installers
About you
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current SAA accreditation relevant to solar PV installations
- Appropriate battery storage accreditation/endorsement
- Current White Card
- Demonstrated experience installing residential and/or commercial solar systems
- Demonstrated battery installation and commissioning experience
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical and solar installation standards
- Ability to test, commission and troubleshoot systems
- Ability to work safely at heights
