Area manager I Early Childhood (Brisbane I Gold Coast I Upper NSW)

Are you an experienced Area Manager, Regional Manager or Multi Site Centre Director ready to take the next step in your early childhood career?

We are working with a growing early learning provider seeking an exceptional Area Manager to oversee a portfolio of services across Brisbane, Gold Coast and Border NSW

This is an opportunity for a hands-on, people-focused leader who knows what it takes to support Centre Directors, improve performance and create high-quality outcomes for children, families and teams.

About the Role

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will provide operational leadership across a portfolio of early learning services, supporting Centre Directors and ensuring each service is performing at its best.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading and mentoring Centre Directors across multiple services
- Driving occupancy, financial performance and operational outcomes
- Supporting services to achieve and maintain strong Quality and Compliance outcomes
- Building strong relationships with Centre Directors, educators and families
- Identifying opportunities for service improvement and growth
- Coaching and developing high-performing leadership teams
- Supporting recruitment, retention and succession planning
- Monitoring compliance with the NQF, NQS, EYLF and relevant legislation
- Managing performance and providing practical leadership support
- Working closely with senior management to deliver organisational objectives





About You

We are looking for an experienced early childhood leader who can genuinely make a difference.

You will ideally have:

- Previous experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager or experienced Multi Site Centre Director
- Strong knowledge of the Australian Early Childhood sector
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple services or senior leadership teams
- Strong understanding of the NQF, NQS, EYLF and regulatory requirements
- A proven ability to improve service performance and support Centre Directors
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and leadership skills
- A commercial mindset combined with a genuine passion for quality outcomes
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider leadership team
