Aboutthe role

We areseeking an experienced Lawyer or Senior Associate to join our RealEstate - Construction team on a full-time, permanentbasis.

You will workacross a varied mix of contentious and non-contentious constructionmatters. Experience across both areas will be highlyregarded.

To besuccessful in this role, you will ideally have at least four years’post-admission experience in construction law gained at awell-regarded firm or in a sophisticated in-house setting. Youwill be commercially astute, detail-oriented and collaborative,with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships withinternal and external clients.

You will workon high-profile matters within a collegial team where quality work,collaboration and professional growth are recognised andsupported.

Whatdoes the role involve?

- Draftingand negotiating construction documentation
- Providing advice andmanaging construction disputes includingadjudications
- Managinglitigation matters, primarily in the Supreme Court and inarbitrations across various Australianjurisdictions
- Participating inbusiness development and client relationshipactivities
- Contributing to thefirm’s learning and development program in your area ofexpertise
- Contributing knowledgeand learning resources, including precedents
- Supporting mattermanagement, including estimates, invoicing and feecollection
