Internal Sales and Customer Service Representative

Yeti Civil Products is an Australian manufacturer and supplier of stainless steel drainage systems, access covers and specialised drainage solutions for the commercial construction, plumbing and civil industries. We supply both standard products and custom-made solutions, working closely with builders, plumbers, contractors and project teams to solve practical site and design challenges.

We are looking for a client focused Internal Sales & Customer Service Representative to become an significant link between our customers and our production team. The role combines customer service, quoting, proactive sales, order management and coordination of customer requirements through to delivery. This is customer serviced based sales at its finest where we offer real value to our clients.

The initial focus will be on our established range of standard products. As your product knowledge develops, there will be an opportunity to progress into more technical and custom product quoting.

The Role

You will be responsible for supporting customers throughout the sales and order process, including:

- Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email
- Preparing quotes and processing sales orders
- Providing product information, pricing and basic technical support
- Following up quotes, enquiries and sales opportunities
- Proactively contacting previous customers and potential leads




- Tracking orders and keeping customers updated on lead times and delivery
- Maintaining customer and sales information within our CRM and ERP systems
- Coordinating with production to schedule and prioritise orders
- Monitoring stock availability and managing backorders
- Arranging freight and preparing dispatch documentation
- Identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell suitable products
- Assisting with sales campaigns and targeted customer follow-up
- Contributing to improvements in our sales and customer service processes

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Has a proven track record and minimum 2 years experience in trade based sales
- Confident communicating with customers over the phone and by email
- Organised and capable of managing multiple enquiries and orders
- Proactive and comfortable following up customers and sales opportunities
- Accurate with quoting, order entry and administration
- Commercially minded and interested in developing strong product knowledge
- Comfortable working with CRM, ERP or similar business systems
- Able to work closely with sales, production and logistics teams
- Interested in understanding customer requirements and helping find the right solution

Experience in internal sales, customer service, construction products, plumbing supplies, manufacturing or a technical product environment would be highly regarded.
