We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant who is eager to expand theirknowledge, develop their technical expertise, and grow alongside our business.
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and taxationfunctions, including:
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals,companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs.
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS returns.
- Preparation of management reports and client reporting packs.
- Reviewing financial statements and tax returns prepared by graduateaccountants.
- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients.
- Assisting clients with accounting, taxation, and business advisory matters.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A genuine passion for accounting and providing outstanding clientservice.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in public practice accounting.
- Strong SMSF experience (essential).
- Experience using Xero and other accounting software packages.
- A solid understanding of Australian taxation principles, including Div 7A,CGT, and FBT.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within a dynamic businessenvironment.
- An intention to pursue or continue CA or CPA studies.
