Christian, Family-Owned Business Group
Who We Are & Our Values
Steadfast Solar and Powerhub Electrical are part of a Christian, family-owned business group.
Our culture is built around integrity, humility, accountability, excellence, respect and genuine care for people.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working within and positively contributing to a Christian-led, values-based workplace. Character matters to us just as much as capability, and we want someone who shares our commitment to ethical leadership, serving others, treating people well and doing business with integrity.
The Prospect
We’re not looking for a generalist marketer.
We’re looking for an experienced Marketing & Growth Manager who understands the solar, battery, electrical and renewable energy industry and knows how to turn marketing activity into genuine business growth.
Working across Steadfast Solar and Powerhub Electrical, you will take ownership of marketing strategy, lead generation, customer acquisition, brand presence and campaign performance.
This is not a Sales Manager role. It sits between marketing, growth and sales enablement.
You will work directly with our Managing Director, Directors and sales team to ensure the opportunities we generate are properly tracked, followed up, nurtured and converted.
What You’ll Own
You will be responsible for:
Developing and executing marketing and growth strategies across solar, batteries and electrical
Generating consistent, high-quality residential and commercial leads
Managing and optimising Google Ads, Meta, SEO, social media, email and other acquisition channels
Developing campaigns, landing pages, lead funnels and customer journeys
Tracking leads from their original source through the CRM and sales pipeline
Monitoring enquiries, appointments, quotes, follow-ups and conversions
Identifying where opportunities are being lost and implementing strategies to improve conversion
Developing remarketing, lead nurturing and database re-engagement campaigns
Working closely with sales to improve lead quality and conversion
Developing referral and repeat-customer strategies
Identifying recent residential and commercial markets
Building strategic partnerships and new business opportunities
Developing relationships with builders, developers, property groups and commercial organisations
Overseeing websites, digital presence, content, customer success stories, testimonials and sales collateral
Monitoring competitors, industry trends, incentives and changes across the renewable energy market
Reporting directly to Directors on performance, ROI, opportunities and growth
For us, marketing doesn't finish when a lead form is submitted.
You will understand and continuously improve the entire customer journey:
We want someone who can tell us what's working, what's not, where opportunities are being lost and what we need to do next.
Industry experience is important for this role.
Ideally, you have worked within solar, batteries, renewable energy, electrical or a closely related industry and understand how customers actually purchase these products and services.
Knowledge across the following would be highly regarded:
Residential and commercial solar
Battery storage
Electrical services and upgrades
Solar and battery customer acquisition
Residential and commercial sales cycles
Customer purchasing behaviour and common objections
Rebates, incentives and renewable energy market changes
Solar quoting and sales processes
Industry lead sources and competitor positioning
Customer reviews, referrals and reputation
We want someone who understands not only how to market solar, but how customers actually buy it.
What We’re Looking For
You will ideally bring:
Strong marketing and growth experience within solar, renewable energy, electrical or a closely related industry
Proven experience generating qualified leads and genuine business opportunities
Strong capability across Google Ads, Meta and digital acquisition
Experience with SEO, landing pages and conversion optimisation
Strong commercial and sales understanding
Experience managing marketing budgets and measuring ROI
Strong CRM and sales pipeline experience
Experience tracking leads through to quotes, customers and revenue
Strong analytical and reporting capability
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Confidence working directly with Directors and senior leadership
Robust initiative, ownership and accountability
Alignment with our organisational values and a willingness to positively contribute to our Christian-led culture
How Success Will Be Measured
This role isn't measured by followers, impressions and engagement alone.
We will measure success through tangible commercial outcomes, including:
Qualified leads generated
Lead-to-quote conversion
Customer acquisition cost
Marketing-generated revenue
Residential and commercial opportunities generated
Campaign ROI
Organic and referral enquiry growth
CRM accuracy and lead tracking
The Person We Want
We are looking for someone who is driven, switched-on, proactive and commercially minded.
Someone who understands marketing and sales, knows the renewable energy industry and takes ownership of results.
Someone who doesn't simply report on marketing activity, but can walk into a meeting and tell us:
What's working? What's not? Where are we losing opportunities? What should we do next?
We want someone with strong character and leadership potential who wants to become an key part of what we are building.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and work closely with our Directors, sales and operational teams.
