We are a leading packaging company with ongoing growth and are looking for a suitably qualified Maintenance Electrician to support our operations and maintenance department within the Night Shift at our Coolaroo site.

About the role:
This role will be responsible for providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution for various machines and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Duties include:
- Performing preventive maintenance activities
- Carrying out emergency / break down electrical maintenance as necessary to support plant operations
- Accurately completely maintenance records and other paperwork
- Work collaboratively within the team and across the departments
- In consultation with Production staff, identify equipment and areas requiring attention.
- Assess and arrange job requirements
- Daily feedback and reports to Lead on progress and work completed
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Electrical Trade Certification / Equivalent License
- Current Electrical Registration to operate in VIC
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing / industrial environment (highly desirable)
- Understanding of Australian workplace health and safety processes
- Solid attention to detail
- Be a team player who enjoys collaborating with other departments and working together to achieve best practice outcomes
