WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

The Lead/Principal Derivatives Operations Specialist in the Investment Operations team at SimCorp is responsible for overseeing and managing operational tasks related to investment activities. This role involves leading a team in processing, settling, reconciling, and measuring investment transactions, ensuring that all operations are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with industry regulations. With typically 5+ years of experience, the Lead Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing workflows, identifying operational risks, and providing insights into investment performance, while mentoring and supporting junior team members.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Lead the processing, settlement, and reconciliation of investment transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure data integrity and seamless integration of investment data across systems
- Oversee the performance of investment operations and drive improvements to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and increase operational efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to junior analysts,



ensuring they meet operational goals and maintain high performance standards
- Develop and maintain reports on operational performance, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in investment data, ensuring timely corrective actions are taken to minimize disruption
- Act as a liaison between the investment operations team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and alignment on business objectives
- Assist with the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance operational capabilities and improve system performance
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring investment operations remain compliant and competitive
- Provide recommendations to senior leadership on operational improvements, risks, and best practices
