About the Role

Arch System Fabrication Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Estimator – Commercial Aluminium Windows & Doors to join our team in Vineyard, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for an estimator with experience in commercial aluminium windows and doors, glazing, façades or a related construction trade who is looking to join an established company and work across a diverse range of commercial projects.

You will play an important role in the tendering and estimating process, reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, completing accurate take-offs, preparing quotations and helping identify the most suitable aluminium, glass and hardware solutions for each project.

You will work closely with our Director, Project Managers, suppliers and other members of the team from tender stage through to project handover.

What You'll Be Doing

- Review architectural drawings, specifications, window and door schedules and tender documentation

- Prepare accurate estimates for commercial aluminium windows, doors and glazing packages

- Complete detailed material, glass, hardware and labour take-offs

- Review project requirements and select appropriate aluminium window and door systems

- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor pricing

- Prepare detailed quotations, tender submissions and pricing breakdowns

- Identify exclusions, qualifications, discrepancies, potential variations and project risks during the tender process

- Liaise with builders, architects, suppliers, Project Managers and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements

- Assist with value engineering and alternative product or system recommendations where appropriate

- Review glass, hardware, finishes and other project-specific requirements





- Assist with variation pricing for awarded projects where required

- Provide clear estimating handovers to the project team following successful tenders

- Maintain accurate estimating records, supplier pricing and project documentation

- Assist with drafting and technical documentation where required

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, commercial awareness and the ability to confidently interpret construction documentation.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous estimating experience within commercial aluminium windows and doors, glazing, façades or a closely related construction industry

- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, window schedules and construction documentation

- Good understanding of aluminium window and door systems, glass, hardware and finishes

- Experience completing material take-offs and preparing detailed construction estimates

- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs and margins

- Ability to identify discrepancies, missing information and potential project risks

- Strong organisational and time-management skills

- Ability to manage multiple tenders and competing deadlines

- Confident written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the wider team

- Good computer and Microsoft Office skills

Experience with LogiKal,



AutoCAD or similar estimating/drafting software will be highly regarded.

Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards for commercial glazing, windows and doors will also be an advantage.
