We’re looking for a reliable and well presented Courier to join our team, delivering exceptional service to our customers while ensuring the safe and timely transport of goods. This role suits someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their presentation, and communicates effectively with clients and colleagues.
Duties include:
- Collection and delivery of specimens and samples.
- Sorting and delivery of pathology supplies and reports to clients.
- Represent Hobart Pathology in a professional manner to our clients and members of the public.
- Maintain workplace safety, ensuring compliance with WH&S; standards.
- Adhere to quality management systems and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Provide reliable short-notice cover for shifts Monday to Friday (7am - 10.30pm), weekends and public holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
Selection Criteria:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Professional presentation and representation of our business.
3.
Excellent availabilty with the flexibility to cover varying shift times including days, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
4. Evidence of an exemplary driving record.
5. Solid customer service skills, with an ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
6. Knowledge of hazardous goods handling and quality control techniques.
7. Sound computer literacy, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
8. Physically able to carry out the demanding manual elements of this role.
Essential Requirements:
1. Unrestricted Australian driver’s license.
2. Have, or be eligible for, a current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employee status).
