The Role, Skills & Experience

We are looking for an Site Manager/ Carpenter with experience managing Residential Architectural Projects in Sydney. The Site Manager will be responsible for controlling the progress of works onsite in collaboration with the Project Manager and the Supervisor.

This role is a hands on role and will require someone who is willing to solve practical problems onsite and progress the work with a small team. 40-70% hands-on carpentry work required depending n on the project.

The ideal applicant would have the following:





- Previous experience in the managing of quality houses with a reputable architectural builder - in capacity as Leading hand, Site Foreman, Site Manager or previous building business owner/ operator,
- Minimum 5 years of experience in managing quality residential architectural projects
- Passion and interest in creative Architectural projects
- Professional, organised and motivated approach to work
- Experience in interpreting architectural plans, planning for and executing architectural details
- Carpentry skills and evidence of quality craftsmanship and willingness to work hands-on.
- Trade certificate in carpentry with demonstrated quality craftsmanship
- Good knowledge of different materials, construction detailing and quality
- Demonstrated experience in ensuring projects are kept on track in time
