Role Description The Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant will support the financial operations of Core Physiotherapy & Slimming Center in a full-time, remote capacity, open to candidates located in Australia only. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end reporting activities.

The role involves reconciling transactions, monitoring expenses, and assisting with budgeting and basic financial analysis. The Assistant will collaborate with management and external partners to ensure timely payments, accurate documentation, and compliance with internal financial procedures. This position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Accounting and Finance skills, including basic bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and familiarity with financial reporting.




- Candidates should possess Invoicing and accounts processing skills, with experience in accounts payable/receivable and reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support budgeting and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Relevant qualifications such as a certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field are preferred; experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) is beneficial.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and maintain high accuracy and confidentiality in handling financial information.
- Prior experience in healthcare, wellness, or professional services environments is an advantage but not required.
