About the role The AEMO People & Culture (P&C;) team plays a pivotal role in shaping a high-performing, future-ready workforce. We partner with the business to attract, develop and retain exceptional talent, build critical capabilities, and foster an inclusive, consumer-focused culture where our people can do their best work and thrive.
What you will be doing
- Partner with leaders and teams across AEMO to deliver practical, trusted HR advice that supports positive business outcomes.
- Guide employees and leaders through HR policies and processes, ensuring compliance while delivering a outstanding employee experience.
- Collaborate with Senior HR Business Partners to support organisational change initiatives, workplace relations matters and remuneration reviews.
- Manage key employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, internal mobility and offboarding, helping to create a positive employee experience.
- Champion best practice governance and compliance by maintaining accurate and reliable people records.
- Stay ahead of evolving employment legislation and provide data-driven insights that inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
What you will bring to the role
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or related fields such as; Business, Commerce or Psychology is required
- Experience using HR technology and Microsoft Office to support efficient people processes.
- Experience in interpreting and providing policy and Enterprise Agreement advice
- A collaborative approach and demonstrated success partnering with leaders and stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
- Excellent multitasking and prioritisation abilities
- Strong critical thinking skills and a knack for identifying practical, people-focused solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence, engage and build trusted relationships at all levels.
