About the role

AEAS is seeking a casual AEAS Test Administrator (Examiner) to join our team in Canberra ACT. This is a casual position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality English language assessments to international students seeking to study in Australian schools. As a Test Administrator, you will be responsible for conducting AEAS examinations with professionalism, accuracy and integrity, ensuring that all candidates receive a fair and consistent testing experience.

This position is essential to maintaining AEAS's reputation as a leading provider of English language proficiency assessments in the education sector.

Key responsibilities

- Administer AEAS English language proficiency tests in accordance with strict examination protocols and guidelines

- Conduct written tests and speaking interviews

- Provide a professional and supportive testing environment

- Complete administrative and reporting requirements with accuracy and attention to detail

- Represent AEAS professionally when interacting with students, families, and school representatives

What we're looking for

- Bachelor of Education or other relevant teaching qualification

- Demonstrated native-level English language skills, with excellent spoken and written communication abilities

- Current or former experience in examination administration, invigilating or a related educational assessment role

- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow strict protocols and procedures consistently

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work across various test administration schedules
- The ability to work independently whilst adhering to AEAS examination standards and guidelines

- Discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality of examination materials and candidate information





- Ideally, familiarity with or understanding of international students' educational pathways would be advantageous
