About the role

O'Briens Machinery is seeking an experienced Agricultural Spare Parts Specialist to join our team in Scone, NSW. This is a full-time position offering a pivotal opportunity within our automotive trades division, specifically focused on the agricultural machinery sector. You will play a crucial role in supporting our customers' operational needs by managing, sourcing, and supplying high-quality spare parts for agricultural machinery.

This position is essential to maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the continued reliability of our service delivery across the region.

Key responsibilities

1. Identifying, sourcing, and procuring agricultural spare parts from reliable suppliers and manufacturers
2. Maintaining accurate inventory records and managing stock levels to ensure product availability and minimise waste
3. Responding to customer enquiries regarding part availability, specifications, and pricing
4. Processing orders and coordinating delivery schedules to meet customer requirements
5. Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers
6. Providing technical support and advice to customers on part compatibility and installation
7. Monitoring industry trends and new product offerings to expand our spare parts range
8. Contributing to the accuracy of parts catalogues and documentation systems
9. Collaborating with the wider team to improve operational efficiency and customer service standards

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience in parts supply, inventory management, or a related automotive or agricultural trades role
2. Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery, equipment types, and their componentry
3. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
4.



Proficiency in using parts management systems and computer software
5. Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build lasting relationships
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and record-keeping
7. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
8. Willingness to learn about new products and industry developments
9. A valid driver's licence is desirable for potential delivery or site visits
