The Prospect

Koppen Construction is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our growing team. This role involves working on projects both local and remote.

About You

- Minimum 5 years' experience operating excavators in the civil construction industry.
- Willing to work on remote projects as well as local Cairns region
- Proven ability to carry out final trim work to a high standard.




- Experience excavating deep trenches for pipe installation and backfilling.
- Experience using TOPCON GPS machine guidance systems (preferred).
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- The ability to complete daily plant pre-start inspections.
- Sound understanding of and compliance with Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
- The ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.

Essential Requirements

- Relevant machinery operator tickets/licences.
- Construction White Card.
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport to site.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
